Legal Limitations
California Government Code Section 6254.21 provides:
“No state or local agency shall post the home address
or telephone number of any elected or appointed official
on the Internet without first obtaining the written permission
of that individual.”
In order to comply with this rule, this parcel map on-line
application does not provide for searches by owner names.
No owner information is available through this application.
Address searches are permitted, but will return information
only about the known address entered by the user. Address
information is based upon situs address data that has been
made available from the Madera County Resource Management
Agency – Planning Department.
