Prospective candidates must submit an official Madera County
application, along with any additional materials specified on
the job announcement, by 5:00 p.m. on the final filing date given
on the job announcement. Postmarks, emails, and resumes in lieu of an application are not accepted. Faxed application materials may be accepted under certain circumstances and with prior authorization of the Department of Human Resources. Application materials authorized to be received by facsimile will require that the applicant submit an application with original signature prior to the date of the examination.

Recruitments for vacancies within the Madera County Department of Social Services and Child Support Services are conducted by Merit System Services. Individuals interested in applying for positions within these departments must complete an official Merit System Services application form (Form IMS-9) and for certain recruitments, supplemental forms must be submitted. Please see the "Filing Instructions" section of each recruitment announcement to determine if supplemental forms are required.
